Hi, I'm Kayla Esparza.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved stories. Hearing stories, watching stories, and now, telling stories.

Though I'm behind a camera most of the time, I am mainly known for being a wife to an amazing husband, being a german shepherd mama, and binge watching every single show on netflix. Okay - maybe not EVERY show, but I have definitely watched FRIENDS over and over and over again. I'm a crazy loud, optimistic, sometimes hilarious, outgoing, bubbly Jesus girl who thrives off of traveling, meeting new people & getting to capture others raw emotions.

I'm from a small town in Washington, but have since ventured down south to Northern California in support of my husbands job of being Active Duty Air Force. I love road trips, sour patch kids, large popcorn buckets at the movies, sushi  (lots of it), and country music. My all time favorite movie is the Lion King, and my favorite hobby - can you guess? - is photography.

My photography journey began at the age of 10, when I held my first point-and-shoot camera.

At the time, my photography was about having fun, creating art, and telling a story. That has stayed the root of my business 12 years later. My business seriously took off my sophomore year of high school, where I spent most of my time wrapped in Senior Sessions.

My business has soon matured into capturing love stories.

Wedding photography to me, is so much more than capturing pos-y photos, it's about capturing raw and true emotion, movement, laughter, and tears. My goal for clients is to look back on their photo collections, and feel like they're relieving the day. I know God has placed this love and passion for capturing people in my life, because it's how I serve him. Everyday, I get to show people their beauty. I can't tell you how much it thrills me to show a client a photo from a shoot, and hear them say, "Wow! That's me?".

I love that photography has so many versatile ways to capture a story, and it makes my heart smile that I am the one getting to capture these stories as my career.

I can't wait to see what story I will be able to capture and create for you.
